Is there somewhere that you learn the code for the knight puzzle without using the hint book? Or are you just supposed to brute-force your way through it?

I really enjoyed the art style and the puzzles! One note: it was frustrating to have to keep redoing some puzzles (e.g. the blocked path) multiple times because I happened to have the wrong item in my hand and had to backtrack. Either having them remember that you've solved them once, or having a bigger inventory would help.
I got the bonuses from the squirrel's house, where the snowman's carrot nose used to be, and both of the snails in the maze. I'm still missing one more bonus!

Great puzzles, finding the 5th bonus on levels 1 and 3 required some careful attention. :)
